Quora approached the Amazonian stronghold holding her ornamental woven beads draped over her outstretched hands. They described her achievements in battle and presenting them in this way was a well known Cimmerian custom to demonstrate a desire to speak in a spirit of goodwill. Though it was no doubt an unfamiliar custom to many of the Amazons she knew from her conversation with them that they respected each other's different beliefs and was certain that someone would recognize their significance.
As she approached the gate a voice called out, "State your business with the Amazons."
"My name is Quora and I'm here on behalf of the Ignoble Order. I wish to speak with Ambassador Kiliana at her convenience."
"Very well."
In a moment the gates were open and she was escorted to a chamber and asked to wait. While she waited she reflected on the amazonian city and approved of its artistic yet disciplined and stoic nature.
After a short while Ambassador Kiliana entered with her entourage and after a cordial, if neutral, greeting asked her to state her purpose.
"I'm here on behalf of the Ignoble Order. We've have spoken with some of your sisters and it would appear we share many common values. As such we wish to pursue an armistice with you." Quora reached into her bag and handed Kiliana details of the Order as well as their proposal.
After perusing the information Kiliana turned to her. "We do not seek battles against those who wish us no harm and often enter such agreements. And we would will certainly consider the proposal you have brought. However, I'm curious why your order decided to send a woman when most of its members are men. Were they afraid to come themselves?"
Quora was taken aback by the question and angered by its implications and that reflected in her reply. "It is true that Lord Thealen typically servers as ambassador to our order. But we are all considered equals and perform roles as necessary. When we spoke with your sisters they had no interest in speaking to the men so it was felt a woman would better serve as an ambassador in this case. So I offered to serve my friends in this matter. And it was done purely for pragmatic purposes."
Though Quora was certain that Kiliana felt the colour in her voice she did not acknowledge it in anyway.
"You do know that we require tribute to prove your intentions of goodwill."
"Yes and we are prepared to send it as soon as the armistice is agreed upon."
"Very well. I will speak with Queen Atalanta and her advisors and return with their answer."

OOC: I and other of my guildmates have had a number of encounters with various amazons and have certainly enjoyed the experiences. We're hoping to increase our interactions with you and thought a NAP agreement would be a good place to start. The Ignoble Order - An RP/PVP Guild
We are a proud clan and strive to carve out a place for ourselves in a barbaric land. We welcome all who struggle against oppression by those contemptible fools who negligently wield their influence through greed and a lust for power over others. For too long have people suffered under this weight. Though born without rank or privilege, we have broken their bonds and will resist any and all attempts to be subjugated again.
This freedom is all we ask.
And the only notion we will accept.
We are a small guild of friends that have been gaming together since 1994 and are looking to increase our numbers in AoC. Our primary interest is PvP, since human opponents are much more challenging, but only if it is 'honorable'. However, we also enjoy challenging ourselves in group and raid PvE. In terms of RP it is 'suit to taste'. That said a number of us come from an RP NWN server we built and we want to broaden our opportunities to RP in 'RP Cimmeria'. If you find RP awkward we'd be happy to help you develop this aspect of your game.
The Ignoble Order - Code of Honor
1. Respect your fellow guildmates
2. Be 'honorable' in PvP to a point.
By default a person joining a PvP server accepts the risk of combat in any area they enter that allows it. This is the devs policy. So feel free to attack whoever you wish / however you wish within reason.
To clarify:
-> Do NOT attack someone who is 'x' levels lower then you unless you can defeat a player 'x' levels above you fairly consistently. If you can't win being at a disadvantage at least some of the time you have no right picking on someone who's at a similar disadvantage to you. If you do you're ganking. Don't do it.
-> Do NOT kill a fresh rez on a rez spot. It's just lame.
-> Do NOT stand in a loading zone and kill people as they load in. Again, it's lame.
-> Do NOT kill somebody while they are in the middle of quest dialog.
-> Do NOT attack allies. We don't have many by design and I'd like to keep them. They are friends. Please treat them as such.
-> DO defend yourself. If someone attacks you you have every right to off them regardless of level / other concerns. If you can't because your opponent is being dishonorable ask your guildmates for help.
-> DO attack anyone you like if it falls within the above guildlines as long as you don't camp them. Kill them once and be on your way.
-> DO come to the aid of your fellow guildmates if they are being camped.
-> DO kill anyone you see ganking others regardless of level.
-> DO take down names and take screenshots of other people doing this to you. Report them to any guild officer and post it in the forums.
3. Stand by your guild.
If we go to war with another guild, then we take no quarter. I don't care if they are on your friend's list, they die. Of course, I'm not expecting you to attack somebody 20 levels above you, but you get the idea. Conversely, if we are allied officially with another guild, I expect NO killing from anyone in that guild, UNLESS it is RP'd out by BOTH parties. Don't say, 'I'm RP'ing a murderer!' That won't fly. When we make a promise, we intend to keep it. Otherwise that guild name above your head might as well say 'No Integrity'. Our word is bond, and you'll have to trust your leaders that they know what they are doing.
Another note about this rule, is if we are going raiding, I'd expect you to raid with us as opposed to another group. Sure, they may be your friends, but as long as you wear that guild name above your head, you should WANT to help your guild mates out, when they need your help to fill out a spot.
4. Your leader, commander, and the officers will have an open door policy.
If something is bothering you, whether it's another guildmate, a rule, or something to that effect, please come speak to one of us. We can't fix what we don't know is broken. If you have a problem with an officer, please speak to an officer you do trust.
5. We WILL respect other player's Role-Playing.
6. We are a Chaotic Neutral guild
Chaotic Neutral is called the 'Anarchist' or 'Free Spirit' alignment. A character of this alignment is an individualist who follows his or her own heart, shirks rules and traditions. They typically act out of self-interest, but do not enjoy seeing others suffer. Many adventurers are of this alignment.

Thank you for that very detailed post Quora/Thealen!
Our NAP agreements are now closed and we will not be accepting any more.
Ignoble Order is the last NAP the Amazons will agree to. Indeed save one of the best for last.
